Cushion Slip Covers:

Our fabrics are sourced from premium furnishing fabric suppliers in the UK.
They are made from mainly natural materials including linens, cottons and silks.
Silk is a beautiful material which produces vibrant coloured fabrics, however it is best kept out of direct sunlight which can cause fading.
More specific information about fabric composition is available in the individual product information.
To care for your cushions we recommend dry cleaning only.
While we try to be accurate with measurements, please be aware that there may be slight variations.

Cushions

Our cushions have a generously filled feather inner pad.

Daily plumping and regular airing will give best appearance and comfort.
Before use plump up the cushion pads as described below.
Hold opposite corners and bring together several times to introduce air into the cushion. Repeat the action holding the other corners. The cushions are made of cambric which is waxed to help prevent feather loss.

Care of the feather pad

Dry Cleaning - Professional dry cleaning only.
Washing - Hand wash or use a Laundrette size (large capacity) machine at 40°C, using a wool cycle, promptly spin dry and then hot air tumble dry.
Always ensure that the filling is thoroughly dried.
Do not iron.

Standards

The feather product filling goes through rigorous washing and drying purification processes to ensure utmost cleanliness. They are washed with specified detergents and sterilized at 120°C, and viruses cannot survive at this temperature. The strict processing route is compliant with the European Cleanliness Standard BS EN 12935.

Our supplier works with the most up to-date guidelines set out by the International Animal Health Division, who are a department of DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs) as well as the IDFL (International Down & Feather Laboratory) and finally EDFA (European Down & Feather Association).

Synthetic fibre filling is available on request.
